Loras junior Morgan Finke (West Bend, WI) has been chosen as the 2010 recipient of the IBNA Michelle Parker Scholarship.  This scholarship was named for the late Michelle Parker, a 30-year veteran of KCCI-TV 8 in Des Moines, and is designed to recognize outstanding promise at an early career stage for an individual intending to pursue a career in television. The scholarship amount is $500.00.  

Finke has been a reporter for LCTV13 for three years, and currently serves as associate producer and anchor for LCTV’s award winning newscast, From The Boulevard. 

Finke is the second consecutive Duhawk to receive the Michelle Parker Scholarship.  Katrina Berning (’09) was the 2009 inagural recipient.
